Butter Recipes For Lobster

What’s better than buttah!? We think that butter is pretty damn delicious with lobster. In fact we’re pretty convinced it’s the most magical love affair that’s ever existed. We’ve put together some classic lobster and butter love stories that we’re sure you’ll say ….Aww… as in Awww ya baby!

The Classic Clarified (butter)

Clarified butter is the butter, that’s pure, clear and well…classic. Check it out, if you’re feeling fancy.

Ingredients
Unsalted butter

Make the dipping butter:

STEP 1 –  Cut the unsalted butter in a sauce pan, and turn the stove on high.

STEP 2- When it’s totally melted,  keep heating it until it starts boiling. You’ll want to continue with a gentle boil. You’ll start seeing a white foam on top. As the butter continues to boil the foam will eventually break apart into little clusters and eventually sink to the bottom.

STEP 3 – It’s done when the bubbling slows down and mostly stops.

STEP 4 – Pour the butter through cheesecloth( or if you have a coffee filter). This will remove any brown pieces. and it’s ready to be dipped!

Garlic Butter 

Garlic butter has been winning our hearts for years…what’s to say except..MmmmMmm. I’m sure you’ve had it before, and you’ll have it again – here’s our favorite way to make it.

Ingredients
Unsalted butter
1 clove of garlic, minced
parsley (to taste)
salt (to taste)
black pepper (to taste)

Make the dipping butter:

STEP 1 –  Cut the unsalted butter in a sauce pan, with minced garlic and turn the stove on high.

STEP 2 – When the garlic is translucent in the butter, add the salt + pepper, with parsley.

STEP 3 – Heat a couple minutes longer or until it reaches a gentle boil.

STEP 4 -Taste the mixture and adjust the seasoning to your taste.

 

Lemon Butter 

Lemon has a way of getting the best out of lobster, like a partner who makes you a better person – that’s lemon for ya. This is a solid and can also be partnered with our garlic butter recipe..if you dare.

Ingredients
Unsalted butter
Lemon juice (to taste)
Kosher salt (to taste)

Make the dipping butter:

STEP 1 –  Cut the unsalted butter in a sauce pan,  turn the stove on medium heat. 

STEP 2 – You’ll want to remove it from the heat and add a bit of lemon juice and salt.

STEP 3 – Taste the mixture and adjust the seasoning to your taste.
